it's come to my attention that some people - nay, make that a lot of people - have much lower morals and values than myself. it must be noted that i'm no Pope Benedict or anything, so i'm not trying to proffer up myself as holier than anyone.
i think what it comes down to is being raised well by parents who, busy as they were, made sure i learnt some of life's basic lessons. i also have to admit that all those religion classes might have infused something into my brain, most likely through osmosis. regardless of how it's happened, i'm glad it did because i'm realizing through experience that too many people lack common decency for their fellow humankind.
it's a shame but i guess this is life.
